What are the Naming Rules?

In an effort to keep the Intelligent Gear game fun for everyone, the following naming rules are in effect for ship and captain names. Players who violate these naming rules will be removed from the game.

Profanity is not allowed on American Prime Time TV and will not be allowed in names. Think twice about using ANY profanity in a ship or captain name. Names will be scrutinized very closely by the admins and may still be removed.

Lewd or tasteless names are not allowed. This includes juvenile humor names, racist, hatred, or sexual slur names are not allowed.

Any name that does not contribute to the value of the game, at the sole discretion of the admins, will be removed from the game.

Names of famous persons, real or otherwise, or names that use could violate copyright infringements cannot be used within Intelligent Gear. The sole exception to this rule is if the player of a ship owns that copyright. (so if you are Stan Lee, please feel free to create a ship Captained by Peter Parker) This includes, but is not limited to character names in comic books and other printed stories, movies, TV and radio shows.

No compensation can, or will, be given to players for deletions under the naming rules. This includes any player who has unspent game tokens. If you are unsure about the name you are using do not use it. As any tokens used, will not be refunded.

Paying for service does not suspend these rules.

Intelligent Gear is a futuristic game and thus you will not find any dragons of lore.
